Had a great time with my cousin

Today was my first time at the current JakeaBob's, and before I get to the brunt of my review, I give Gigi and her crew a ton of credit for wanting to rebuild another time! It takes a lot of guts, drive, and determination to want to put that kind of effort in and have it come out looking (for the most part) like it never left! That said, there were three of us at the table today, and we all ordered the exact same thing. We all shared a pitcher of awesome red sangria and had the shrimp roll. Let me tell you something from someone who's mainly used to a lobster roll. These shrimp rolls are the real deal, and you don't get just one. You get two, loaded shrimp rolls! They've got me coming back for more. Plus, the chips and homemade salsa they give you on the side. Gigi, you may be known for your ribs, but give yourself some huge credit for those shrimp rolls because they may be another thing that set you apart! I'll likely have to come back for more of those before too long!

Went the second day it was open for lunch. Brand new setup so the delay in food/service was expected. Food was good. Sitting on a deck thats on the bay is awesome except if you get motion sick it wobbles a bit.

Great place to have a drink. Beautiful view of Manhattan and Sandy hook.

Buffalo Shrimp app. with the blue cheese dressing was right on the money. Had the 12 ounce prime rib special with the garlic potatoes and it was very good. The red sangria was very good.
