Vickie is amazing. I have been going to her for over a year and in that time, she has taken a true interest in my health and helping me get better and stay healthy, not just feel better. A few months into treatments with Vickie, I got pregnant and she was super knowledgeable and supportive throughout my pregnancy with which treatments we should continue, what had to be modified and what should be added to help the baby and me. Vickie is truly interested in healing and wants to know the "big picture" she is not interested in quick fixes or only treating the symptoms, which is what I loved about her from the start.

She has helped me with physical issues like migraines and sinus problems and stress and anxiety. I can't say enough great things about Vickie and her treatments.

I started going to Vickie for acupuncture a couple years ago for stress and anxiety related to a number of things going on in my life. At the time, I felt like I had lost control of myself and that I was stuck in a life that made me so unhappy. I was looking for someone to help get me out of my "funk" emotionally. I had gone to other acupuncturists previously, but somehow Vickie offered something different and more valuable. Within only a few sessions with Vickie, I started to notice changes in my outlook on life. I can honestly say that she helped me gain the courage to resign from a job I was extremely unhappy in and go back to school to pursue a new career. I no longer felt stuck and now years later, I am so much happier in my life, more driven, more confident, and much more balanced emotionally and physically. I would absolutely recommend Vickie to friends and family. She is one of the most caring practitioners I know and spends ample time with each patient getting to know them inside and out. She'll never rush you, her office is in such a comfortable space, and I always look forward to my next session.

Over the course of my life, I have often thought of seeing an acupuncturist, but was hesitant to do so without recommendation from someone I trusted. After listening to a colleague literally gush about how Vickie had changed his life, I called and made an appointment. I first went to Vickie for specific pain which she worked on for some time, partly in tandem with my physical therapy treatments. The weeks I saw Vickie, I made great strides toward recovery, to the point where my physician and physical therapist both asked what I attributed this quick recovery to, and of course I said Vickie's acupuncture treatments.

I feel the need to mention that while I was being treated for one problem, I noticed other things that had bothered me for many years had just stopped being an issue. I hadn't thought about the pain in my knee, or my back, for instance. As Vickie pointed out, she is treating the whole body, while concentrating on what may seem like just one spot.

I've suffered from chronic neck /shoulder pain and almost daily headaches from an automobile accident I had almost 30 years ago.My sister recommended I try acupuncture because she had success here with a shoulder injury. I figured that I've already gone through orthopedic, chiropractic, and physical therapy without too much success, so this was kind of my last shot.

I met with Vicky Segal and explained my situation, and the fact I knew little about acupuncture and quite frankly, wasn't sure I really believed in it. Well she made a believer out of me by the end of the first session. Ms. Segal took an in depth medical history, and then proceeded to spend the next hour on my first treatment. And since she only sees one patient at a time, you get her full attention for the duration of your visit.

If I didn't experience the change myself, I really wouldn't believe how great it has worked, and how fantastic I feel. The chronic pain that I had grown so accustomed to living with is gone, so is my daily dose of Advil and the headaches that I had 5 or 6 days a week. As corny and unbelievable as it may sound, it truly has changed my quality of life. Seeing her was one of the smartest decisions I've ever made, and I wish I had found her years ago.
