Wonderful "destination" playground. By that I mean it's not just your average neighborhood playground but one that a New Yorker (with kids) can seek out as a city excursion. It's rather huge and there are different areas for big kids and toddlers alike. Equipment is in good condition and there are public bathrooms. You can park right along Myrtle Avenue for free. Of course bringing a lunch is key and Forest Park's nature trails are right nearby as well. You can add this place to the fun family-day check list.
