I was so happy when I found a 4 star rated brunch place (with eggs benedict) in queens!
I came here for my birthday brunch with my Godfamily on a Sunday afternoon and the wait was about 45 minutes, which is normal especially because the place is rather small. After my experience there, I don't think it was worth the 45 minute wait.
The service was super slow. Yes it was a full house, but the waitress was not attentive and everything was just so slow. Our dishes came at different times; one coming out more than 5 minutes later than the others. I got the eggs benedict, which was mediocre, I don't even remember what it tasted like anymore but one of my eggs was overcooked. One of the most important factors of an eggs benedict is the poached egg, that "runnyness" and it was saddening not to see the yolk pour out of the egg as i cut into it. My dad also got eggs benedict and one of his eggs was also overcooked. Two of my godsisters and my godmother all ordered the french toast, one godsister's was cooked perfectly but my other godsister and godmother's were completely burnt on the bottom. They were burnt to the point where it wasn't even edible and they had to cut off the whole bottom.
Overall, meh.
I'd rather travel to Manhattan to get a good brunch!
