Dark. Didn't bother me much but wifey was bothered by it. Friendly Staff was not uniformly dressed, but nice people.Food was very good. Especially the peas and lobster tail. Waterfront window view area needs a lot of work. A little expensive,but not crowded which was fine by us. Would visit again.

I don't know why people make all the fuss there are so many restaurants in city Island pick one. Yes, the prices are a little on the steep side but the food is worth it. You get what you pay for people....I have been going there for over 25 years and never had a problem! You don't like peas don't eat them.... I'm tired of reading these stupid reviews. If you don't like it don't go there and if you can afford it go to the end of the island.

The food has always been great but it's over due for some renovations the entire decor is out dated the restroom area is awful certain areas smell horrible towards the bathroom. This was our favorite place but not anymore. The decor suck, service sucks, food even sucked. Don't they have any other vegetables besides those nasty dry peas. When the door opened to the kitchen the floor had trash and stuff on it. It looked horrible. Never again I'm sorry I wasted my money here.

Horrible experience! The only thing I liked was the Valet Parking which wasn't even necessary, with the size of parking lot but it worked.
As for the service, it was ok. The waitress was ok.
It was other things that annoyed me. Soda's were served, a can and a cup of ice. Salads were served in a lil plastic bowl, accompanied with dressing shoved on the side in a small plastic cup. Salad was also served very cold. The entree if you ask me were a lil over priced for the quality of what i received. I ordered the Salmon Fillet topped with cajun and it didn't have any taste at all. The rice and peas were adequate but barely. Then there's this guy walking around to clear the tables I gather, he was annoying as well. He reached over the table to remove the salad bowl and thats not how its done. Oh, one more thing. I'm a man and can appreciate a ladies butt....really I can. But I think, the female staff should have been wearing something covering there butts or actually pants and not tights or legins. The view was nice but the aviance was dark and desolate.

Would I go back there? NO! Would I recommend this spot? NO!
