Came here for Valentine's Day and the food was very good. The prix fix menu options were pretty varied and the lamb and steak were both very good.
My only complaint is that when I paid, the waitress had wrote in the tip herself. Granted it was for the amount I was going to tip, but it was still a little off-putting.

been here twice with my boyfriend, both times were absolutely magical evenings. the waitstaff made great recommendations and were perfectly attentive. I rarely eat out at a place and walk out and feel so completely satisfied.

I read all the reviews of this restaurant and was still interested in forming my own opinion. We went for there early dinner special. There were only 4 entree choices but for a salad, entree and dessart for $15 it was a very good deal.
The place is charming and they had the piano player while we were there. The salad of mixed green was blue cheese, apple nuts, grape and a lite dressing was well made. The steak i had was perfectly cooked. The salmon my date had was moist and perfectly season. The desserts with the meal was also very good. They also have a wine special the offer 3 choices of bottles of wine at only $15 a bottle.
Dinner for two with a bottle of wine with dessert and coffee $65 including tip. I will return to this charming little restaurant.

Very disappointed. Saw the menu online and the dishes sounded amazing. We we're really excited to try the stuffed mushrooms with bacon and brie. Upon walking in the place looks very old and had a smell... but we continued, hoping the food would speak for itself. We ordered a couple of overpriced domestic beers and recieved our long anticipated appetizer. It was so dissapointing... after digging in to the first one it was clear that they were made ahead of time, frozen, reheated in a microwave and stuck under the broiler with a bit of butter or olive oil (I say this as the plate was so soupy). We crossed our fingers hoping the main course would be better. The pasta dish my girlfriend order not only looked unappetizing - it had no flavor and the vodka sauce tasted like water. The dish I ordered was edible, but its hard to mess up a steak (ribeye) but the mashed potatoes were instant and did not contain garlic as the menu stated. Needless to say we were happy to leave and not look back.

AN OLD HOME WITH A BACK IN TIME ATMOSPHERE. GOOD FOOD, ALTHOUGH SOMETIMES INCONSISTENT.
