Do not under any circumstances rent a phone from IsraelPhones. I recently rented a telephone on which I only used voice and texting functions. Mysteriously, the phone used 2MG of data, which I never authorized nor intended to use. I never once purposefully used data, although I understand from the company that they have not disabled data, so if they send data to the phone on any given day (or perhaps a previous user was the intended recipient of the data???), I will be charged $10 for the 0.001 of data. If I do not pay these fraudulent charges, they have threatened me with collections. Do not fall for the bait and switch: they say the phone will be $2 a day for unlimited talk and text, and then bump it to $12 per day with unwanted data usage you have not authorized.
