My experience at Island Toyota was totally unexpected and stress free. I have leased a Toyota Highlander for the last 6 years and each prior lease involved many hours and visits to different Toyota dealers to get the right car, price and service. My prior visits to Island Toyota, when it was under different ownership were very unfruitful, resulting in my having to go off Staten Island to complete my deals.
When I entered Island Toyota this time, armed with mail offers from Island Toyota signed by Anthony Santi, I immediately was greeted by Anthony Santi himself. I explained that I always started my car search in this Staten Island dealership but had never been able to get a good enough deal here and had to lease off island. He assured me that with the new ownership in place, they would do what was necessary to earn my business. He brought me to one of his most trusted sales consultants, Algernon McKie. Skeptical due to my past experience, I proceeded to work with Al to detail what I was looking for in a new Highlander lease. He meticulously went through all the options and the result was a new 3 year lease at almost the exact pricing and features of my last 2 leases, with a few added features that were missing in the last leases. Al was very knowledgeable, professional and attentive from the moment I sat at his desk until I drove away with the new 2016 Highlander. From the great experience I had, I would definitely say this is my NEW Toyota dealer of choice for my future car needs.

Not reliable at all....never ever go them. Here is my I cident...After looking at their inventory online..I called them and asked these 3 questions --
1. Do they charge any fee/ additional money to what it is listed on the internet? The guy told me that there is no additional charge.
2. I selected 2 cars and gave them the stock# to check if the cars available or not (knowing that some dealers put fake low priced cars on internet for fishing) the person at the call told me that both the cars are available.
3. Price listed on internet is negotiable. The answer was as expected...they are negotiable but not a lot.
After getting these 3 satisfactory answers, I went there to see the car and reached in 45 mins. When I reache, there was some other sales person who attended me but not the one who talked me over the phone and he completely flipped on these 3 things -
1. There will be a $995 charge from dealership on top of what ever is listed on internet..WTH? Reason..they listed very competitive price on internet and the price they listed online is the price on which they bought the car...and is basically there cost price. It is not the price on which they will sell it. Aren't they crazy or just making people fool?
2. There is no question if negotiation at the internet price at all
3. On top of that both the cars (that I selected online and went to see) were not with them. 1car they just sold 5 mins before which was available 45 mins before..I asked if they can show me the some proof if it was really sold...which they did not.
And the car I selected was just transferred some other dealership across the street....wtf...lying again???
After hearing these completely opposite answers to what I asked upfront before going them.... Immediately came out of these cheater dealership.
Never trust on them...beware of falling into fishing. Now I doubt if they are selling the cars as is without doing any manipulation to them.
Be careful never go this dealer....

I purchased a vehicle there this weekend. The level of of customer service exceeded all my expectations. The GM Anthony Santi was extremely professional and personable. I felt very comfortable through the entire process. Never once did I feel pressured or rushed. I would HIGHLY recommend Island Toyota to help you find your next vehicle!

i have to admit i like leasing cars but hate the trip to the dealers when my lease is up. I have leased a ford escape over the last several cycles and wanted a change. I really wanted a hybrid since i wasn't happy with the mileage I was getting on the escape. I started out looking at a Lexus but a little to pricey for me and the wanted a 48 month lease to drop down the price. So i figured let me take a look at the Rav 4 hybrid, same size as the NX and the escape. The car is beautiful and so far i love it. Now to the sales experience. My salesperson Omari was great very personable and pretty low key especially for a car salesperson. I explained what i wanted and what i was hoping to pay, which of course was less then he was able to do. He did say he would talk to the sales manager about what i was looking for. The next day Trudi gave me a call and told me they met the price I was paying on my prior car. She was also very pleasant to work with and really great when we met.
All in all I had a really good experience at the dealership and would certainly recommend in you are looking for a car give them a shot.

Our sales rep Hamza was straightforward, polite and followed through on all requests or requirements promptly. He was engaging but did not use any high pressure sales tactics so we felt comfortable checking out the cars, asking questions, and taking a test drive. We ended up buying the car we wanted and driving it home and the whole process took about 5 hours. If you stop in at Island Toyota, you can expect great service from Hamza and the rest of the team.
