Brendamaris was the customer service rep on 8/7/15. She was AMAZINGLY helpful in all my questions and helped me with understanding the late policy very clearly, unlike calling the 1 800 number twice while at the store.
I joined in may, which was prorated, and was told my late fee would be assessed each month on the 8th, not midnight by the 7th of each month. Because I was confused, and was told I had until the 8th to pay, I came in today, on the 7th, and the late fee was already there. There was nothing she could do, but she was very helpful to suggest calling customer service. Through failed attempts, they WOULD NOT GIVE A NEW CLIENT LIKE MYSELF, a CREDIT for the late fee, which they could have, and should have done! If it was not for Brenda at the front desk who was super sweet and accommodating, I would have been irate! So unfortunately public storage general 1800 number is awful, Brenda at the island park ny office kept me as a customer.
