Abusive. Rude. After an hour and a half waiting to see the orthopedist I finally asked myself why I ever came back here when every time I do I am subjected to rudeness at the front desk and abuse of my time. This time, after more than and hour and a half of waiting, I decided to leave before I even saw the doctor and never come back. Ironically, I ran into him on my way out. He asked me how I was and I complained again to him about the repeated disrespect of my time. He said it wasn't his fault but the fault of the head office in Hewlett, Long Island. I can only conclude that this impersonal network is so detached from it's patient base that it deliberately profits by abusing our time. Their business strategy appears to be to deliberately overload their waiting room to maximize their profitability at our expense! The doctor's time and the companies profitabiliy is therefor leveraged by wasting yours. I simply can't afford it and won't accept the abuse.
