I send my kids here and they absolutely love it. Master Pete is excellent with the kids. I highly recommend checking this karate school out because its such a family friendly place, locally owned is best!

My almost 5 year old son has been going to Island Martial Arts since just after his third birthday. The staff has always been friendly and courteous. They do an amazing job of working with the younger kids.
I really like Master Pete's business model. The kids can attend as many classes as they like and there are no extra hidden fees.
Some of my favorite things about Island Martial Arts are all of the extras that I never would have thought about, like my son learning to speak Korean. They also have a Fire Safety and Stranger Danger weeks for the kids to learn how to handle all situations.
We look forward to many years of continued classes.

Island martial arts is by far the best karate school on Staten Island! Master pete is great ,and the staff is very hands on and knowledgeable.

Zumba, Kickboxing and Pound...Oh my! I don't take martial arts classes, but when watching the instructors, they keep the kids engaged and in line!
Master Pete is awesome! He truly cares about all of the kids.
