i went to see her through a recommendation many years ago for a lung disease. my experience with her was hurtful and humiliating. her attitude was smug and cavalier. i asked her for help to get assistance to low cost child care. she refused with relish to sign a form that would accomplishment that. my social worker helped me instead.
i needed to get health insurance in the early 2000's. i asked for a positive recommendation to give to health insurance companies that were seeing me as a potential risk. she smugly refused again, and told me "good luck" with copies of my health records. crushing. i could not get health insurance for years. THANK GOD AND PRESIDENT OBAMA FOR NEW HEALTH HISTORY PROTECTION LAWS.
i thought i was her patient; she dismissed me like i was looking for hand outs. an ideologue extraordinaire who made getting a leg up for the less fortunate impossible. thank heavens for others on this earth who don't tick the way she does.
i am so glad this opportunity to offer a review happened upon me quite unexpectedly. i just can't understand people like her. whenever i reminded of her, i feel sickly terrible about myself even though i know it isn't true.
