Nice presentation, good collection of old & new technology
Beware when you use the NewYork-pass that you have to pay extra for the Concorde & Space shuttle exibihitions

The collection is all pretty cool but the presentation is without any inspiration. It's like computer art. There is a space shuttle in here... You can walk around it. Impressive and at the same time disappointing.

Amazing set of aircraft for a floating museum. There are some cool videos with fake smoke for the kids to enjoy. Lots of informative material for those interested. They have been know to show the Top Gun movie on the flight deck in summer!

Great exhibit if you're into that sort of thing. Most of the exhibits are on the deck of the WW2 carrier in the open, so keep that in mind if you're visiting when it's bad weather.
Location of the final resting place of the SS orbiter Enterprise. Seeing the space shuttle was just amazing. Lots of information and history in the space shuttle pavilion as well. Well worth the extra ticket. Could have easily just come here for that.

Showed up at about noon on a Sunday and had little to contend with in the way of lines.
I got in on a corporate membership through my employer though and I feel like the $31 admission still would have been worth the price.
The pieces laid out in the hangar deck from sailors' daily lives (ships logs, etc) were just as interesting as the radar rooms, bridge, and all the aircraft on display. I'd definitely come back and bring the kid.
