I met someone at my friends house dinner party who raved about Dr.Sherman and how much she helped her.I was a little skeptical after all my suffering and many many doctors trying to help me unsuccessfully .It was far and she wasnt a gastroenterologist that supposedly had to treat all my ailments.But my continuous suffering made me try so I went.Today I cannot believe in changes in the way I feel.I feel even better than I felt when I wasnt sick.I am amazed by Dr Shermans love for medicine patients and extensive knowledge that she is passionately applying to her everyday practice.I guess she has a very big and kind heart.Thank you so so much for you help kindness and the time spent with me.

I was referred to Dr. Sherman in late May. I had been feeling lethargic and mildly depressed for years, and had tried several doctors with few results. Within a few weeks of starting treatment with her, I felt tremendous better as if I had turned back the clock many years! She combines modern medicine with a holistic approach to health. I've learned how to improve my diet, and to live a more healthy life. She is incredibly caring, patient, and kind. You may hear some complaints that wait times can be long, but she spends whatever time necessary to make sure you get the treatment you need. She never rushes. I have referred several friends over the past few months, and they are all pleased.

I’m writing this story in order to help other in my situation. Since is my belief that many doctor are concentrating in pushing one and other medications. Forget to treat the illness and look deep in what is wrong with the patient. I’m a very proud mother to see what my child has been able to achieve with the help of Dr. Rimma Sherman. We’ll forever be grateful to her and her guidance. Out of desperation I asked her to check my child, since he was a 12 year old child, and I’ve been her patient for a few years already.
This story start when my youngest son was 4, at this time he was diagnosed with asthma, year after years the cycle of him getting sick in the winter and summer and going between the pediatrician and allergist was normal. All they did for him was pumped his body with medicines, Albuterol , Asmanex, Advair were staples at my home, always had to keep a supply of them at home and at school for him in case he got sick. When he got the attacks were horrible experiences, sleepless nights and missed workdays.
By age 10 he started getting painful blisters/canker sore on his tongue would peel off and would hurt him more. The same cycle trying to find an answer and all they gave him once was drops to numb the tongue but never tried to find out the reason for this repeat episode. Once they told me was herpes, that many times babies are kissed by people carrying it, how? This were the “best Physicians in New Jersey” a few months earlier I asked them to retest him for allergies. All they did was the arm test and the results were normal. These were doctors pushing for food allergies test at that time. I understand that now both his former pediatrician and allergist are doing the tests that Dr. Sherman has been performing for many years already.
Out of pure desperation that I could not do anything for my child to make him feel better, at age 12 I took him to Dr. Sherman as her usual first checkup, was the blood work to know exactly what was going on. At this time this child was obese at 220 lbs. size XL in men his pants were a size 44”. Mind you that I had gone to different physicians even an endocrinologists to get help for him and no luck. Why is this child so obese? I don’t buy cookies, or sodas, he started drinking teas at 18 months of age, juices were all natural. The cereal were the ones that didn’t have the sugary stuff. He would not do any sports because he did not want to feel awkward or made fun of.
What was wrong? His gluten number were in the 60’s Dr. said that the usual numbers she sees for grown-ups are in the upper teens or twenties. She told me his asthma will go away, I did not believe that because I was preparing that winter was coming and I had to make sure he had all his medicines on hand. Guess what? Three years later he doesn’t know what those medicines are anymore. She turned me into a believer to the point that I’m trying to follow her advice in avoiding those foods that my body doesn’t tolerate, which at times is hard.
Another trend that I have noticed has been that I don’t need to have bottles upon bottles of Guaifenesin, Sudafed, Zyrtec, Allegra and Benadryl all the time at home, for my allergies. I had been contemplating having sinus surgery. Due to how bad they were for years. But now that I have listened to her and let go of dairy products I feel a lot better. My brothers follow suit and had himself checkout and is the same evil harming all of us, the gluten intolerance that has showed in different ails all of us.
Back to my son, at age 15, loves to wear fitted clothes, his current size XS or S, can’t stop wearing jeans (used to be sweatpants) and a 30” waist. Just ended first year of high school ended with high honor roll, dedicated to his studies and athletics, doing sports is a way of life for him, spends time at the gym every-day and runs long distances. I’m proud to see him reach for the sky, he is a new person at the right time of life. He feels indebted for life to Dr. Sherman.
