After reading about the TableBed in the New York Times, we were very impressed by the design thinking behind it, and we called their NYC headquarters directly, and bought the TableBed thru them.
We had it delivered and installed by them and their approved moving/installation group to our apartment in NYC where the TableBed has remained since its original installation.
Recently, while attempting to open the TableBed, it started to fall apart - as the right side corner rails came apart.
After contacting the manufacturer, we then find out that there was a Design Change/Addition of “4 Corner Angle Bracquets” (now step 11 in the TableBed’s new installation manual) that would have prevented the problem we endured, but we were never told about it via email, mail or even online posting/alert.
After paying Thousands of Dollars for this Product, we did not expect or deserve this experience.
