Inn on Second

Worst B&B EVER!! The owners are super creepy and unfriendly! Overpriced for nothing. It's just a room next to the owners room and worst bed you can ever imagine at a place. No TV and very little air circulation. STAY AWAY!!

My parents stayed here for a weekend visit and they absolutely loved it. It was very comfortable and down to earth and the owners made them feel right at home as soon as they walked in the door. The price was perfect and was only a few blocks from my apartment in Carroll Gardens. Couldn't afford to put my parents in some hotel downtown and really didn't want that experience for them either. The Inn on Second has an authentic Brooklyn neighborhood feel, nothing fancy or pretentious, a quiet, friendly place to spend the night. Will definitely put my folks up there again when they come to visit.

If I could give this more than 5 stars I would! The hosts were welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and the selection of books in my room fitted my reading tastes. I am an Australian, so the whole New York/Brooklyn experience was new to me, but I settled in perfectly - thanks to Joe and Fran (the hosts). The Inn is located within minutes of the subway and the shops in the area offer all you could possibly need. The neighbourhood is quiet, friendly and very much "family" oriented and it's dog friendly, too! I will return and stay here for an extended period.
