Probably the best Ikea in NY. The selection is massive as well as the space... Set aside a few hours because that's the minimum amount of time it will probably take if you are looking at everything in their display areas. Traffic is heavy and the lines are long, but that's pretty much the case at any Ikea.

Thought that argument you were having with your partner wasn't that really that bad? This is were relationships go to die.
Look through a catalog or online before you arrive at the store. No fully grown adult can truly sustain the concentration necessary to make the full loop through this store with out losing the plot a bit.
Cheap-ish everything you could want for a first time apartment or that live of mediocrity we have all been so meticulously curating.

The layout of the store is standard. The quality of furniture is as expected for the price you pay. Great as starter furniture.
There is a shuttle bus to the Ikea from Borough Hall but it is unreliable and not on time. Worth it to just Uber Pool to the store.

This ikea location is a nightmare. I think the staff are ignorant so they are only capable of hiring other imbeciles just like themselves. The staff is absolutrly incompetent and stupid as hell. If you call, the lazy workers won't even answer they just keep transferring you to the next member until someone decides to pick up. Then the person that picks up doesn't even know the rules and policies of the store so they are moaning over the phone like an idiot trying to figure out the answer to a question. Absolutely, the dumbest and worst of all mankind is employed at this location.

Thursday morning. Relatively quiet. Only 3 tills open. 20 minute wait. Then had to pick up another item at furniture pickup and it too an hour.. Totally unacceptable. Staffing was way too low and they were moving at a snails pace..
Why should a checkout process take an hour and a half?????
