Now doing business as Global Home Travel. Apartment was not as advertised - there were multiple safety concerns (space heaters instead of central heat, non-locking doors), non-working faucets/showers and there was no internet, cable or adequate linens provided. Beware of this company.

I wish I could give a zero star rating. I rented an apartment for 4 nights in March 2015 (Snowing and freezing temps). Upon arrival to the apartment found a leaky roof and simultaneously got a call for the agency to move me to another apartment. I wished they could have figured that out a bit earlier. Arrived at the second apartment, after 20 minutes went to use the toilet, saw some "debris" in the bowl so I flushed it before using it and it overflow on the floor with fecal material. Plunged for 30 minutes, no luck. It was told it was too late for anyone to repair it that night and they promised it would be fixed in the morning. Two days and 17 calls later a plumber arrived, worked on it for 2 hours and told me it could not be fixed. This was now Friday night at 6 pm. Called the office to get moved to another place multiple times, they promised I would be moved by 7:30 pm, and then no one returned my call, so I had to check into a hotel at 10 pm. They argued that I used the apartment for two nights and they could not issue a refund. I have never been given such %$#^&hit and their intention was to bury their heads in the sand and ignore. This is one messed up company. Steer clear of this scam facility!!!!

This is a SCAM company- do not deal with them for anything as you will just cause yourself agony, ruin your vacation and possibly waste your money.
We had a booking with them for 5 nights for a 2 bedroom apartment (210 East 47th Street, Apt 10H) for our parents & another couple visiting NYC from 6/3/15 to 6/8/15. When I was going through the booking process in March’15, their agent Carolina Echandi was very co-operative. I had also asked her if I could send a package for my parents before they arrive and she told me I could absolutely do that and to send it to their Management office at 163 West 23rd St, 3rd Floor. I touched base with her about a query a few weeks before my parents were to arrive and someone else from their office replied back to my email. It was good until then.
One week before my parents were about to arrive, I mailed a package (USPS regular mail) for them at the Management Office address and sent them an email to let them know of the same. Less than 48 hrs before the check-in, they cancelled the reservation via email claiming an emergency situation at the apartment. It was near impossible to get hold of them, and when they did answer the phone; the unprofessionalism from their staff was shocking. I first spoke to Marie- she was extremely rude and she gave me the same plumbing excuse that they give to all bookings they cancel.. Not only were they unwilling to provide any alternative accommodation or feel apologetic about the situation; they wanted us to be grateful that they refunded the deposit (I now have $$$$ stuck in PayPal). I understand that they made us sign a completely one sided agreement as a part of the original booking, but professionally run companies try to at least make an effort to serve their customers. It was pretty evident at this point that they DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. I was then trying in vain to locate the package that I sent to their office and have it re-routed to another address or have someone pick it up from their office; but they kept coming up new excuses each time if they accidentally answered their phone. After over 36 hrs of trying; I gave up!
So not only did I have to spend more $$$ to find a place for my parents and their friends last minute in NYC; I also ended up losing about $100 in the package that I sent for them. All in all I wasted a lot of time and money dealing with them and nothing good came out of it. This is a horrible company with no ethics or professionalism. I should have paid heed to the other negative reviews before making the booking. Do not deal with them, stay away from them for your best interest!
