One of the most fantastic shawarma and falafel places I know today. They deserve top marks for their flavorful meats and tasty falafel. Top that with the tahini sauces and hummus, only Mamoun's of East Village and Taim rival it, and that's saying A LOT. Definitely a reliable option compared to the rest of the fast casual counters across Grove St.

I walked past by this falafel joint so many times and I finally decided to try it for my lunch the other day.Since I went during the lunch time, I ordered the Combo which had the falafel sandwich and Lentil soup.
I walked and gave my order to the guy behind the counter. First of all dude love your job and show me some good customer service. I had to repeat thrice that I want the combo lunch platter.
The falafel sandwich was so dry, bland that I could not finish it.I though I would satisfy my hunger with the lentil soup, to my surprise I find a small iron string in my soup. That was so disgusting and I threw all of that food. If I would have not seen that string I would have eaten it, yikes and so scary!
Definitely never coming back here. A place which one can definitely avoid when in JC downtown.

Good falafel but the menu is set up in such a way that getting hummus with your sandwich takes math and strategic maneuvering. A falafel sandwich that doesnt come with hummus? I wanted to order the falafel platter and asked how can I get hummus and was told to get the hummus platter instead which came with only 4 falafel and 2 pitas. Disproportionate...
