Very good Class! I highly recommend to any first time parents or any parents looking to have a natural intervention free birth. Maeva was a wonderful and calming teacher. The techniques we learned were instrumental in our amazing 100% natural birthing experience. Word of advice however - you must do the work and practice the techniques. They are not difficult but they do require effort. I can tell you that this stuff really works. Every couple in our class was dedicated to learning the techniques and all had wonderful births. As first time parents it was also nice to meet other couples having similar experiences. So worth it!!!

Short Version: If you are looking for an honest and frank, yet caring and kind hypnobirthing educator than Maeva is it. She keeps you focused and on task with your preparation and education while creating an open space for all that comes up during the 9 months. We are empowered soon-to-be parents heading into birth largely in part to having Maeva on our team. Even now after our classes have ended and we wait for baby she is checking in on us. Love Maeva!

Long Version: Loved having Maeva as our Birth Coach. Due to our schedule my husband and I had private courses with Maeva and had wondered if would miss out on being in the class. No way. It was a comprehensive, enlightening and fun experience to work with her! We are waiting for out little girl to arrive and as we reflect on the journey to 40 weeks can say that Maeva was instrumental in getting us to the confident, empowered and educated place we find ourselves. That I think is one of the great gifts Maeva brings. She really wants you to be empowered to choose the birthing experience you want and works with you to get you there.

We had originally planned a hospital birth with an OB but at 6 months due to the amazing education we received from all the resources Maeva provided above and beyond the amazing HypnoBirthing process we decided we wanted to work with a midwife and change where we would give birth. We then had the task of figuring this out and Maeva was with us the whole way supporting, providing referrals and researching the various new settings we were considering. We would have had her as our Doula but some lucky other mom had already booked her but even her referral for an alternate Doula was spot on we love her too. Truly feel blessed to have her on our team!

It was so wonderful to work with Maeva in our own home. She made us feel comfortable and relaxed right from the start. We had fears and concerns about having our baby at home, but after working with Maeva and practicing the Hypnobirthing techniques we were much more relaxed and prepared for the big day.
We listened to the guided relaxation several times during early labor and practiced the breathing techniques as things progressed. My midwife and doula said I was among the calmest and most focused mothers they had worked with. Hypnobirthing really helped me and my husband stay calm and connected.
