The pappardelle is out of this world. The duck that goes on top is perfectly cooled. I also really like the burger. My wife said the mushroom pot pie was unbelievable. I can't wait to go back.

I'd seen this place a quite a few times and thought, 'seems really popular and kinda, Brooklyn cool.'
Turns out to be exactly that. A friend suggested we head to Hunter's for their burger. We lucked out, with no wait. Last two seated spots!
Dim lighting, recycled materials with industrial finishes and a menu to make vegetarians happy too. So, of course, I ordered medium rare burger with salad. The burger was perfectly cooked, seasoned and juicy. Lived up to its reputation.

This was a complete waste of time. I have not been back to Hunters since it opened and decided to give it a try for brunch. From the fact that they don't even serve real tea at brunch to the burned and tasteless chicken sausage patties, to the under salted everything, to the bland salad dressing, etc., this was a very mediocre meal in a neighborhood that has a bunch of great brunch places. I don't know how you can take 3 things that are normally delicious: Brussels sprouts, bacon, and peanuts and combine them to be such a sad dish. Everything tasted like no one in the kitchen cared. The service was fine.
