True Hungarian meat products and taste! Big selection of Hungarian, Czech and Slovak products as well, knedlik, bryndza, Erezs pasta, etc. Great selection for such a small store. Kind personnel.

Absolutely the best true Hungarian products. I grew up in Budapest and moved to the USA at age 13 in 1964 so I know how things should look and taste. I visit Hungary frequently. My Mother who is 91 years old just ordered several products from Kolbasz (kolbasz, majas-veres hurka, paprikas szalonna, dulan fustolt szalonna, szalami, beigli, toltott paprika). The taste just like back in the old days. It is even difficult to find this good a product in Hungary. The order was through the phone and delivery was prompt and accurete. If you are looking for Hungarian meat product this is the place to go.

Best Hungarian butcher in NJ (the only other one in New Brunswick is more expensive and not as good). Good variety of kolbasz (sausage) in spicy and non-spicy varieties. Also carries Hungarian, as well as Polish and Czech newspapers.
Oh, and the poppyseed and walnut kalacs (rolled strudel) are the best I've tasted, as good as grandma used to make!

Just returned from this gem of a butcher. The Hungarian Meats are outrageous and the selection extensive-they had horka and blood sausage, poppy seed bread I grew up in this neighborhood 42 yrs. ago and haven't been back since. Made an hour trip to get Kolbasz (smoked and fresh), Szalana (sp?), Hungarian Salami and Hungarian rye bread. I felt like i took a trip back in time. The woman behind the counter spoke fluent English and Hungarian which sadly I was fluent as a child but now can only tell when someone is speaking Hungarian and some words. There were other Hungarian customers in the store including a old lady who was brought there by her son. My SUV smelled like Kolbasz the entire trip back-I was in heaven. My wife and I ate half of the Salami as soon as we got home. The bread was amazing. I will be back in this neighborhood in two weeks and I will likely be spending more $ on my next visit. If you have Hungarian blood in your veins, you have to visit this place to buy authentic Hungarian meats.
