The best Turkish food I've found in this area. This is the family that owned the great Sofra restaurant in Montclair, and many of our favorites are on Hummus's menu as well. Some friends commented that the food was better than what they ate in Turkey, but who knows- maybe they were just being nice. I can say that the Lahmahoun (a Turkish pizza) has such an incredible thin, delicate, crispy crust, with such a perfectly seasoned ragú on top- it's impossible to imagine it being made better anywhere else.
The usual kebabs are all grilled exceptionally well- in multiple visits we never encountered a dry morsel of meat. Baba ganoush is actually the best I've ever had, in a long life spent mostly eating baba ganoush. In addition to the cracker-crust Lahmahoun, there is a variety of Turkish Pide on the menu- oblong pizzas with a thicker crust and various toppings. There is not a little kid in the world who wouldn't love this food.
Now that it's warm, we can sit in the rear garden, with the tile mosaic tables and torchlight. I don't throw 5 stars out there easily, but this place is just a gem.
