I am extremely disappointed in the service I received at the Paramus, NJ location. I was promised my couches would be delivered withing two weeks of purchase back in May, and then I get a call saying they won't make it for another two weeks, making my total wait time a month. I was very diligent to the manager, Ken, that I needed this furniture within two weeks and I would not be making a purchase if I had to wait longer. He guaranteed me delivery within two weeks not a day later, I even got a confirmation call and scheduled delivery the week the couches were supposed to come in. Then I get a call a day before that they are delayed another two weeks. I was very upset, but as a "nice gesture" Ken offered me a $125 gift card to make up for his mistake. It has been 5 months now and still no gift card, I have called Ken several times and all I am told is "it is on its way, corporate will send it to you". Is this how a company like Huffman Koos works? You lie to customers to make the sale, then offer a pathetic form of apology in a gift card? Which hardly makes up for the $3000 I spent. Then you do not even deliver on that? Shame on you.

Back in December 2014, our family have placed the order for Natuzzi Editions 641 leather sectional to be delivered in about 14-16 weeks. Instead we have patiently waited for over 24 weeks for delivery to take place. Upon arrival we noticed that the sectional brought in was not only different in size, shape, and form but also exhibited a downgraded leather of a lower quality, unlike what we originally saw on the floor at Huffman Koos store when the order was placed. In addition the sofa came with number of defects: dents, scratches, stretched out leather, uneven seems etc. They also managed to give us something that was less wider and 24” shorter (12” inches on the left and 12” inches on the right sides) Besides all that we were also mislead about Natuzzi brand and famous Italian craftsmanship, because this particular sectional was poorly assembled in China.

After shopping at 5 different furniture stores we finally came upon one that had everything that we were looking for. That store is Huffman Koos Furniture. We were presently surprised with the experience. The salesperson was very informative and helped us pick out exactly what we were looking for.
Would recommend this store if you are looking for variety and quality.

My husband and I were shopping for livingroom furniture for some time and were not finding anything we really liked. We had placed an order for furniture at a major department store and the delivery date kept being pushed back so we cancelled our order. Thank God! I must say we had a wonderful experience at Huffman Koos in Paramus. Not only did they have a nicer selection of furniture, but the sales rep. Martha was wonderful. She answered all of our questions and made us feel very comfortable in making our selection. Our furniture was delivered the following week without any problems. We will definitely be shopping there again.

Bought a $2000+ dining room table over a year ago and bought insurance over the table. Not only did they deliver a table that was dented, but despite many attempts to have them replace the dented leaflet, I finally gave up. I bought insurance on the table for 5 years. Recently, the dent got bigger and caused a crack in the mirror portion of the dining table. It is a beautiful piece of furniture so I was very frustrated that this happened. I called the insurance company that they indicated I was registered under and sure enough, Hoffman Koos never even registered the table! They sold me a table that they promised to replace the dent in (since it happened on their end) and they never did, and on top of it, they never even registered the table with the money they took from me! When I called two weeks ago, they indicated to me that I would have to deal with Guardian to see if they will honor and register the table. Guardian said they wouldn't because they need the company (i.e., Hoffman Koos) to do it. So I called Hoffman Koos and spoke to Sasha who was helpful at first and apologetic, but now she is no longer returning my calls. I called today around 12:20pm and spoke to a very disrespectful and rude individual that kept cutting me off and telling me she can't help and there is nothing Hoffman Koos can do. I basically have to work it out with Guardian the insurance company, even though Hoffman Koos is the one that took my money for "insurance" ($200 worth) and now just ate it up, stating they will not be able to help. I buy a lot of furniture and have a lot of friends that do so as well... in fact, I was looking to go back there to see what type of sectionals they have but even if they had the perfect item, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND buying ANYTHING from Hoffman Koos. Their customer service is horrible, and they lied to me!! They committed fraud and I will not give up on fighting them since I would hate for them to do this to someone else.
