- Average #57266
My husband and I have lived at Hudson Point for over three years. Our experience was positive until this last year. The building is not being kept clean anymore. The hallways, areas in front of the elevators and the elevators themselves are usually dirty. Many times I have picked up trash myself and even done some vacuuming in the hallway near my apartment. We except better upkeep for the price we are paying in rent.

- Poor #57267
I lived here two years. I did not like Hudson Point for several reasons:
1. Mice. Yes, a lot of mice. I tried a lot of ways but failed to get rid of them. Several of my neighbors complained this. We complained to apartment management team but no reply from them.
2. Crappy house: you need to repair different stuffs here and there from time to time. We wrote to apartment management team almost every month for repair request. We were really tired of this.
3. Crappy fire alarm system: they tested from time to time but did not give your accurate time about when you would test. Or sometimes the fire alarm is triggered at midnight for unknown reason and all people in apartment need to exit the building. You never know what is going to happen...

So good luck if you still want to move in...

- Poor #57268
I lived here 4 years and it was pleasant, but the upper management is awful. We never had a late payment all the years with them and in return we get a $250 late fee our last month from a glitch in the system. We were taken off the auto payment plan without our knowledge. They would not waive the fee even when we explained what had happened. As a realtor in the area, I will not recommend this place to anyone! What a goodbye present! I cannot believe they were not willing to waive $250 when we had given so much to them in rent over the years.

- Very Good #57269
I've lived here for a few years now. Overall, it's got everything I want: great kitchen, big rooms, great location, good bathrooms. It is expensive, though. The only problem is noise. The sound insulation is very poor. When my neighbors above or next to me flush their toilets or run the shower, I can hear the pipes roaring in my bedrooms. When people outside are talking, I can hear it clearly through my closed windows. I can hear people in the halls as they shuffle by my front door. Sometimes, I can hear my neighbor snore. Thank goodness they don't have noisy sex! The only reason this doesn't drive me crazy is because this community seems to be an older (>30 maybe), quieter group. If more younger people start moving in and making a lot of noise (a few have shown up), I'll move out quickly.

If you're looking at these apartments, check the noise. Flush the toilets, have someone talk outside the door, etc. Many apartments and condos save money by building paper thin walls. So be aware of this issue in any apartment you visit.

- Terrible #57270
The insulation here is very seriously lacking. You have to listen to your neighbors through the walls. If you move here, your best option is to hope that your neighbors are kind and quiet. If they aren't, the management is not responsive to these problems. It's not the peace and quiet we anticipated or pay so much for. Disappointing experience.
