Reviews to Hudson Park Apartments
I became a resident in February of 2014. In February of this year,I wanted to move due to the high utility bills that occur from the building. This is a common complaint amongst the tenants in Hudson Park. The main building does not have this issue since heat is included and the other two use electric heat.
After speaking to Joseph, he was the sole reason that my wife and I planned to renew our lease with Hudson Park Yonkers. He catered to our concerns and valued us as customers. That's not the same in the office with everyone. However, sometimes you just need one diamond in the rough.
Other notes:
-The concierge team is absolutely amazing! Well I can't say the concierge supervisor. However, everyone else is attentive and gives a personal approach to the buildings.
-Hector is a major reason why it was easy for my wife and I to renew our lease. He is the best porter I have had. If he was leave, we'd follow behind him as well as many other tenants.
- I am excited to see the changes due to the new ownership. The first bit of advice is to have sales associates who are customer obsessed like Joseph. I don't want to throw names in a negative effect but the other associate has a horrible attitude. But once again, you need to look at situations half full, not half empty.
- To our senior community manager; interact more with your residents. Don't sneak in and out without finding out what concerns us. This is a great community and only with a little customer obsession, I can see this place going to greatness.
-One last thing - Kudos to Dwayne for trying to fix the negative impact left from the last manager.Keep up the good work!

Dirty, dog hair and flea infested hallways. The building manager denied the problem even after seeing it with her own eyes and in repeated photographs. The most heavily trafficked hallways, first and third floors, are also always filthy with torn carpets, stains and trash. Again, very little care or concern from the building manager or janitors.

Do not rent at Hudson Park in Yonkers, besides the leasing staff being horrible individuals, the apartments are infested with bed bugs and roaches. And the area is very very bad, especially if you venture up the street off of Main, and into Getty Square, why pay close to $2200 a month to live next to the projects. Allows pets only at a fee and they increase your rent at every new lease signing regardless of record. The washer/dryers have to be serviced twice weekly, and they do not respect they're tenants at all.

I've lived here for almost 2 years with my boyfriend and we are really happy with Hudson Park. We originally started in DUMBO (Brooklyn) then moved to Queens in Sunnyside and then transitioned here to Yonkers. We both work in the city and enjoy the 25 minute commute to Grand Central Station. The train is hardly packed, which makes it easy for my boyfriend to bring along his foldable bike. And the views are much more calming for us compared to the city life. We haven't really had much complaints to voice out besides for the occasional hallway pet mess (which is always taken care of immediately once you report it). Night-life isincreasing with all the new venues and warm weather approaching. I see there are other reviews prior that complain about utility, but I guess you would need to be experienced with this type of issue when you lease in apartment buildings in New York. All in all, we recommend Hudson Park! We've already referred two of our friends to move here and they are happy too.

My wife and I moved into Hudson Park April of 2012. We were looking forward to the "luxury life" as they described it but soon came to realize it was all a sales pitch to get you to sign on the dotted line.
At first Hudson park management seemed to be going above and beyond to please us...once you sign the lease and move in management will forget who you are. They will promise you a low electric bill and hit you with a $400 bill for a one bedroom apartment when you barely use your appliances. The maintainence staff, especially Walter Cruz DO NOT maintain the buildings, you are expected to break down your own boxes and leave them placed nicely in a dirty trash room...if not you will be fined $100!!! As if they are cleaning throughout the day and don't have time to do that...what a joke.
The worst part of it all is Hudson Park management took in section 8 people!!!! How is this luxury??? How are you expected to work hard and pay $2000 in rent to feel like you are in living in the projects??!!!
SAVE YOUR MONEY DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!
