if i could give them zero stars i would.
I will never take another item of clothing to this cleaners ever again!! I knew in my gut that I should have never left my shorts to get a blind hem fixed when I picked up my boyfriends coat (which needed to be stitched up b/c one of the pockets ripped) and when i got it it was still ripped they had the coat 3 weeks and it was still messed up. they said oh sorry we'll get it done. So i leave my shorts and the coat and I perfectly explained to the guy (who doesn't speak english) in spanish what needed to be done they only need to blind hem one tiny spot. I come back and the coat is stitched up okay and the shorts were RUINED they hemmed the shorts all the way around and pressed them and the fabric is so thin that you can see holes in the fabric where the sewing machine went through. and now there is a mysterious white spot on the front of the pants that wasn't there before. so i freak out and they are like oh we had someone else doing all the tailoring b/c we don't do it on premise anymore we do it again and see if we can fix it it will be ready on friday. This was on tuesday 12/08/09. I couldn't pick it up on that friday and so finally had the chance and I went to pick it up this friday 12/18/09 when i get there again like the 1st two times they couldn't find where the pants were after 10 minutes the guy who handles the front and some lady from the back come up with my shorts one leg totally unhemmed and the other looking exactly the same as it did when they ruined it and the white spot STILL on it "oh we're not done the other leg still needs to be done" so i tell her "look that is not what i wanted (pointing at the hemmed up leg) you ruined my clothes give it back to me so i can take it to real professionals" thank god they did not try to charge me b/c i would have went off.
so if you want to avoid this type of situation don't bring your clothes here.
Also they are liars "oh we don't tailor on premise" but they do because my pants were halfway hemmed and if you tell someone to come back 4 days after dropping something off and then they come 1week & a half later and you still don't have the garment ready should you as a business call your client to give them a heads up. What if i would have went on the correct day what would they have told me.
now i have to take all my dry cleaning/ tailored clothes into Manhattan where I trust the cleaners but are too far
oh and they don't accept plastic only cash!! i tried to pay with my card the 1st time and they said cash only.. more lies
