If i could give this place a negative star i would. I went there on Wednesday August 11th to re-certify for my EBT. The staff in the round desk where the food stamps area is are extremely rude. They were polite to me but i noticed how they treated other people and i was appalled that my tax dollars are paying for such disgraceful behaviour. First of all there was this African American lady (worker) who was extremely loud, talking about issues rarely related to the job, you would think you were at a market place as opposed to a place of business. Then it came to lunch time - nobody said anything to the people waiting it is as though we should all know. There was an older lady who went up to the desk to ask this gentle man a question and he was rude. All he could say was "listen its lunch time and i am not going to answer you." He kept on saying that in a boisterous manner, then the security guard at that same desk was also being rude. Its almost as if the people they are getting paid to serve are their enemies. This place needs to be under proper management. I wish I knew where to make a formal complain about these people's behaviour. Totally unacceptable. I must say though that the case worker was very respectful and courteous.

I'm very sick and since my Primary insurance is Medicare, I had to apply for a new Medicaid, which I did THREE MONTHS AGO. I went there Monday bc I'd heard nothing back in three months, and turns out, the whole time it was sitting in a computer and never sent to the right office! So the guy there says he'll call the next day after he fixes things. No call. Nada. Now, being very sick, I have to drag my ass up there again on Monday and be like wtf???
Because of their incompetence, i lost my caregiver and I can't get my medicinal cannabis.
Im writing my local Congressman about this dump, and so should all of you.

Had a better experience there , than the previous office...."BUT"...all in all, all the attitude from caseworkers/ employees , is very unprofessional, & rude. Not all,...but majority. Thee most miserable place you can find yourself. Unfortunately I'm disabled, and rely on this program, as well as many others, and "at least" deserve some reasonable respect,& courtesy.

This place gets 0 stars The workers are horrible, they never help they told me to come in before 7am when they open at 8pm. I was never helped or given information for what I had asked for. They told me I had to make an appointment to be seen I asked to make one and they said just be here before 7am. They send people home just so they can catch up on super late paper work... they never answer their phones. Someone needs to be ontop of them. They purposely misplace paper work to not deal with it. This information was given to me by one of the case workers I had. The people are rude uneducated and not helpful what so ever! This type of behavior and work ethics is not acceptable!

How can I file a complaint? Tried getting in contact with the manager.... he/she was not able to see me. I have filed a complaint to NJ consumers affairs.... let's see what happens.

Its a waste of time not a good environment. For your family. .at all they need people skills....
