I went here today. I had a cheque and it was closest to my job,so I thought it would be more convenient. It was my first time ever stepping into a HSBC bank. I hated how I was greeted by the teller. I went in very polite,said good afternoon and was greeted by the teller "can I help you?" I felt like it was very dismissive how she came across,not because she didn't say good afternoon but because she was acting like she wanted to help me but it felt like she wanted me out of her face at the same time. I told her what my issue was and she told me that her window will be closed and that I should wait in line for next teller. At the end of the day my problem wasn't solved (My cheque was issued by HSBC. I was told by the teller that she was unable to verify it). I don't feel like I was helped in the best way possible and will never visit this location again,because I might not be as polite as I was today next time around. Poor customer service dealing with the first teller. I will visit another branch however.
