I am not an HSBC customer, I have accounts with Chase, BoA and TD Bank and never experienced the cluessless I have had in this specific branch. First most of the branches close one hour earlier than their competitors, but the real joy is the teller services. Helping out a friend, it took 30 (THIRTY!) minutes to do a simple cash deposit - not the deposit itself but the lack of tellers and competent service. The branch manager was not only useless but BARKED at me as to why tellers should go for lunch during everyone else's lunch time - meaning 10 people on line with one teller. Why? BECAUSE YOUR CUSTOMERS USUALLY DO BUSINESS DURING LUNCH TIME! So idiotic.... But the manager tried to help the rest of the people but could not service them. That's ok, it resolved itself as four people walked out.
