It's an okay hotel for it's location. This hotel is squeezed into Chinatown and can be missed if you aren't paying attention. The sign doesn't stand out much among the protruding signs for the surrounding businesses. The hotel itself is cozy. The staff at the front desk is polite and welcoming. The room itself is pretty small yet had a modern look and feel. There was no mini fridge nor microwave in the room. The space between the desk and bed is pretty narrow. This hotel is a good option for anyone looking to room in NYC on a budget.

My girlfriend and I booked a last minute stay, using a third party app (hotel tonight) and checked in at 2am. Upon arriving, we were immediately greeted by a friendly employee who spoke both English and Cantonese. Since it was a last minute stay, we forgot our toothbrushes so he grabbed us 2.
We immediately noticed the room was small, but well lit and had a view of the bridge. The sheets looked clean and the bed was a very comfortable king size. The bathroom appeared to be clean and stocked with the basics.
Here's where things take a turn. At around 4am, my gf heard the lock click. Standing in the door was a gentleman in his mid to late 40's, fumbling for the light. We don't know whether the room was double booked or an employee came in for a quick nap, but someone with a key, walked into our room at 4am, while we were half asleep. When I got up, they immediately apologized and left the room. We were too tired to call the front desk right away, but chained the door and went back to sleep.
The next morning, we asked the front desk if any employees may have mistakenly entered our room or if our room had been double booked. Her response was courteous but she had no idea this had even happened. I'm hoping this is an isolated incident or a mix up using the third party application, but our overall experience was still negatively impacted.

now if I had to stay overnight, that would have been worse. There is a cute little breakfast shop at 6 Allen Street. I'd recommend it.

The room smelled like gym socks. Otherwise great place for the price. Spray some air freshner once in a while and I might consider leaving 5 stars next time.

Good and clean hotel, got a very good offer from it for my stay in NY. Location itself is not very good but its close to metro stations, close to SOHO, and close to the bus service that took me to Washington.
