My family received a letter from our local NYCHA management office THREATENING to terminate our lease because according to the incompetent fools there we have more than 2 air conditioners in our apartment. NYCHA cannot legally accuse someone of breach of contract when their claim is simply untrue.
We've contacted housing through the years for needed repairs in our apartment and it takes them YEARS to respond or even to just come take a look, but they're swift to make bogus claims against their tenants.
I will be reporting our current living conditions to the local media as well as your threatening letter. This cannot go on, NYCHA needs to get their act together.
