House of Seafood Express

The food is good, I go just about every week. The service is great.

I am torn by this review and hesitate to give it 3 stars and not more. The food is good solid southern fried fish, seafood and sides. I go there when I am wanting filling food at a good price. Their Mac and cheese is not to be missed and the collard greens are good.
Where I am torn is that the front facing staff does not know how to multitask....I have literally gone into the store and waited minutes to be asked what I am ordering. Mind you there is no line and the front facing person is having a conversation with a friend in front of me while I stand and wait. There is definitely a customer service lesson needed. That being said the food is solid (including their dessert). They have a solid clientele but will be hard pressed to attract the newcomers to the neighborhood without a CS lesson. Also it is not an eat-in restaurant but take out.
