The location of this hotel is convenient both to subways, museum, Botanical Garden and the best restaurants! The staff both at the desk and the concierge were excellent - helpful in directions, suggestions, and even restoring the television reception. The view of the city skyline is spectacular from the balcony.

We stayed for one night while passing through Brooklyn to visit some friends living in the Gowanus and Park Slope areas. This was an ideal place. Incredibly affordable for a NY spot, stylish, clean, and staffed by friendly and welcoming folks. My 4 and 6 year old daughters were totally charmed by the modern design elements, and for being on a busy stretch, noise was not a factor. The Whole Foods just around the corner from it (behind it really) was a great spot to get some incidentals and even a bite to eat in the pub/restaurant upstairs. Small in-room breakfast service and some free snacks and water were appreciated as well. We also benefited from the free parking, though the spaces are limited (I believe there are 14), so you are not guaranteed a spot. Worst case, there is a garage just down the street. We will not hesitate to use again if we are looking for a spot in Brooklyn to stay.

The main good thing here is free parking which is difficult to get in hotels around NY. Good that they deliver breakfast at your door but very less options for breakfast. Make sure to read the pamphlet inside the room before you open their complimentary water bottles and chocolates kept inside (you are charged for it if you use it). Glass door bath and restroom may be good for couples or when staying alone but not when staying with family or group of people.
