Hotel 309

The rooms were okay. We went in and the place seemed outdated. In our room, the TV didn't work and the lamp plug was broken. I personally prefer really clean places and this place is not it if that is what you want. It's not really dirty but not too clean either. I had wipes and cleaned the sinks, faucets, lamps, any knobs. For breakfast, they brought out food but it is just basic food (not eggs and bacon and cereal): bagel and muffins/sugery bread in their own package like you would find at a super cheap walgreens (unhealthy). The tiles in front of our door was really old and gross. However, the rooms are decent. One of the pillows given to was like a not-so-comfy couch cushion put into a pillow sheet.

Fantastic location, right next to subway. Easy access to everywhere. Rooms are nice but shared bathrooms. Lovely outdoor relax area.

Dude - what a horrible word down, filthy, loud and sticky place. If you need to go for a really cheap place, you might want to cope with this, but else, stay away from the 309.

Very noisy unclean rooms. Too expensive for what it's worth.

You get what you pay for here. I only paid $175 a night. That is super cheap in Chelsea, but it was budget, budget, budget. I didn't even have my own bathroom. Towels were old, place was generally dirty and sheets were paper thin. Perfect if you're looking for a cheap place with good location!
