Most of these "reviews" are misleading. Horizon Products cannot just send companies products they did not order and bill them for it.

It's not the responsibility of Horizon Products if the person claiming to have the authority to make purchases, in fact, does not have that authority. If the person doesn't have the authority to make purchases, then he or she should say so. That's point one.

Point two: Regardless of whether a person has the authority to purchase products, they are asked whether they have that authority. If they don't have that authority, then they should not be placing orders. Period.

"But they don't place orders," you say? All calls are recorded and verified by the shipping department. The shipping department definitely doesn't want to send out products to someone who is not going to pay. So, this idea that Horizon Products ships products to companies willy-nilly is absurd.

The shipping department verifies the name of the purchaser, the company name and address, the products ordered, the price of the products, and the total cost. Invoices on items is often delayed for two months.

So, what is the problem? What it comes down to is someone without the authority to make purchases, for one reason or another, makes a purchase they weren't authorized to make. The company receives a shipment of products they do not want. Instead of blaming the employee for his or her mistake, or instead of blaming themselves for poor management, they blame Horizon Products.

Furthermore, I'm willing to bet many of these people claiming they received rude service from the collections department are telling half-truths. It wouldn't surprise me if many of these angry reviewers lashed out against the collections department for doing their job. Then they turn around and play the victim if, perchance, something rude is said to them.

It is a shame that among all of the honest, hardworking people there are scumbags like this. I told the rude lady that she should be ashamed of herself preying on the indefensible. She called me disgusting. The company that is supposed to provide service called the customer "disgusting" - wow. Just wow.

Same as everyone else they claim to be an approved vendor then start shipping cleaner to you. They will not stop calling, saying I have agreed to x amount and have not filled the order. I have be told on three separate occasions that I will no longer receive product from this company. Called corporate office got the same speech "We're sorry, we promise...' I will believe it when it actually happens. If they call just hang up.

Same as everyone else here. Claimed to be confirming an address for an already placed order, pretended to be an approved vendor that we did business with. The stuff I've read on the internet about these clowns is sad and hilarious. If they pull this scam on you, turn them in to the FTC and Attorney General of your state and NJ.

I seem to be having the same problem as the rest of you. I get a call from a lady telling me about these degreasers that we have been getting and that they have a new formula and that they are sending a 5 gallon bucket for a total of 234.75. I have been trying and trying to find a phone number for these guys but all the ones I am getting are either disconnected or for some other business. I was just seeing if anyone knows how to get in contact with these scam artists so I can tell them not to send me anything before its to late which it probably already is. Also, if product shows up im not going to pay anything, guess ill ride it out and see.
