We were thrilled when we managed to find a location on HomeAway which was listed by HomeSuites since our original location had to cancel the day after we booked. At first everything was fine and we were scheduled to move in on time however the next time I was notified by their team they told me that the apartment we booked through them was unavailable (this is after we already place the security deposit). 3 days before our original move in date (which was already postponed due to HomeSuites incompetence) they notified me of a new location to stay. Today is 1 day before we have to check in and still the lease and invoice still has not been fully sent out since apparently they now had the wrong email address, one which they had been using to contact me previously. I know this seems like a long rant and I agree it is but I believe that this kind of service is uncalled for. In total our move in date has been postponed by 5 days and today I still have not received a method to pay for the lease. The reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because the employees seem like pleasant people, but the firm itself is very incompetent and despite us having been more than willing to sign any necessary documents and make any payments. If anyone is seeking to make any kind of leases (long and short term), a much better and hassle free alternative is to use air bnb.
