Reviews to Hoboken Realty Management Co
I had an issue with two locks on the front door of 601 Monroe. I called Ed up and he had a locksmith out that afternoon diagnosing the issue.
They sent a local vendor out who gave us a smile and asked residents to check their keys on the locks to make sure their key worked.
Ed is a gentleman - ask for him and he'll take care of you, respectfully and expeditiously.
If Ed isn't around Kelly knows pretty much everything about the properties that Hoboken Realty Management. I asked her for the financials of my condo association and she had them sent to me the same day.
I've found that reaching out to this company by phone is best (as is the case with most small businesses).

They are by far the most unprofessional, unresponsive, and rude management company I have dealt with. I do not understand how they manage so many buildings in Hoboken. You have to call them multiple times to get an answer regarding a concern because when they say they'll call you back - they won't. Most buildings are in terrible condition and they do the bare minimum to fix issues.

The Worst Ever!!! Untrustworthy!!! It charges an unreasonable fee called "renewal fee" that costs a tenant 250 extra to do a new "paper work". No way to find this fee in any other realty company. Btw, it took them 3 months to fix a fan in my bathroom. I complained to them every week to fix it and the bitch just came with all different kinds of excuses to postpone it.

I moved into an apartment managed by HRM last year. I had signed the lease "as is" not knowing what I was in for. The apartment had not been cleaned and looked worse than a frat house. Beers cans and cigarette butts everywhere. I expected to clean a little but this was awful. I actually spent the first 5 days cleaning my apartment before I even unpacked anything. I even soaked the bathtub with bleach the first few hours after I had moved in. I still wont take a bath in it bc of the picture in my head. After living here for a few months I now I understand why this place was in such disarray. They do not respond to any maintenance calls in a timely manner. My heat has broken 3 times, my kitchen sink had a leak and now the dishwasher and refridgerator are having problems as well. When I call these things in the people in their office could care less. I have to constantly follow up with them bc they dont communicate. All you have to do is pick up the phone and let me know something is getting fixed or if it will take a few days. The icing on the cake was when I went away for a few days for work and came home to realize someone had clearly been in my apartment. It was the middle of winter and the thermostat somehow got turned down to 40 degrees. I'm not dumb enough to turn it down to that. Not only that but items from the water heater closet were out in my kitchen. When I called the office to ask why someone was in there and I wasnt notified they told me no one was in there and that basically I was nuts. It took hours to get my apartment warm again, and now I'm paranoid to leave anything out in case they decide to send someone in again without telling me! Long story short, if you can avoid these people please do. I dont plan to stay here very long not because I dont like my apartment but bc of their failure to address common maintenance issues and communicate with their tenants.
