Hitch King

Bought a 2016 Explorer and went to Hitch king. I dealt with Adam and had a great experience. Very helpful and most importantly very honest.

Although I was only able to give them ~20 mins notice before I stopped by, Adam and the team were able to make it happen. I brought my own hitch in and was in and out in about an hour and 30 mins.

The entire process was pleasant and professional. During the install, Adam noticed my brake lights were due for replacement, one was already out. Before putting the rear assembly back together, Adam shuttled me to the nearest Subaru dealership and helped me pick up two new bulbs. That is great service.

I purchased a Curt trailer hitch for my 2012 Nissan truck...ad indicated that it fits perfectly. Not True! I spent time trying to contact Amazon...no luck. I called Hitch King and spoke with Adan and WOW what a great guy...knowledgable, patient, and customer focused! He told me a couple of "fixes" I could use...and they worked! I was able to install the unit successfully. Curt should be ashamed of themselves as I read so many reviews that indicated that the customer would have to retrofit the unit and they haven't changed the manufacturing of the unit despite the many reviews I read. That shouldn't be. Anyway, Adam saved the day for me and For Sure..If I need to purchase a hitch product I will go to Adam at Hitch King! Thanks, Adam!

I bought a hitch for my 2012 Prius (for bike rack) from an online dealer, and needed it to be installed on the car. After being turned down by Toyota and two other mechanics, Adam at Hitch King in Bayside said "No Problem...I do those all the time!" and took me that afternoon.
Not only did Adam notice that the company sent the WRONG hitch unit...he actually had the correct one in stock ! It took him literally 15 minutes to hook it up for me and then he showed me how to put the bike rack on and off etc.
I couldn't be happier! Thank you so much for a job well done!! Highly recommend to all New Yorkers.

I just picked up my 2015 ford focus from hitch king on Tuesday. I had a front tow bar installed so I am able to pull the car behind my RV. I also had a rear hitch installed. The work was great. It was clean and everything I needed was done to perfection. The estimate was right on and the staff was great. I will recommend this company to all my camping friends. Thanks Adam and the staff.
