Hippodrome Cleaners

This place has lost the blazer to my suit after it was supposed to be altered with a new lining. They kept saying they found it, and gave me a different jacket each time. Then I was told I had to speak with the owner who is never in. I am slapping them with a law suit for $300 for the loss of my blazer, and lost wages, and aggravated harrassment. DO NOT USE. IT DOESN'T EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR.

Always reliable,decent price and careful with my clothing. High five.

Rosaria(sp?) replaced my zipper on a skirt that broke on my way to work in 10 mins! The service was GREAT

Absolutely HORRIBLE. They lost a suit and bleached a blue shirt. They offered a $20 refund for the shirt (shirt was $210) and I am still waiting to hear what they are going to do about the suit. If you can, go elsewhere.

I had gone here a few times out of convenience and was satisfied with the service (while it was somewhat expensive.) However I brought a skirt to be cleaned last week and when it was returned the zipper was broken. I politely asked if they could fix there mistake and the man told me it was his word against mine and that he would be charging me full price to fix it.

Beware, i will not be going back here or recommending it in the future, for if they damage your garmet they do not take responsibility. I did end up finding a place a few blocks away on 39th between 5th and 6th ave that offered to fix it for a resonable price and their cleaning fee for the same garmet was $4 vs the $7.50 I hd been paying at Hippodrome.
