A pleasant surprise in a neighborhood chalk full of so-so diners. Food is better than average: matzoh ball soup, egg and cheese sandwich, and bacon are all terrific. Half of a cantaloupe is sweet and delicious when in season. Turkey sausage was far too large and bizarre tasting. The space is dated yet clean and comfortable. Service is friendly and accommodating.
