The only reason I can even justify giving this place one star is that it gave me some structure during the day. I went here after a stay at a psychiatric hospital, ramapo ridge which is an awesome hospital. Coming here was a big shift, the staff are judgemental and rude. They treated the patients like children, with a condescending tone. When I voiced my concerns about a medication that had some serious side effects, instead of working with me to find a new med, the nurse practitioner no longer saw me. Their recommendation was for me to go to in patient program at a hospital for 30k a month...even though they knew that I'm a waitress who works basically every day, not exactly a ceo of a fortune five hundred company. I rarely saw my clinician one on one and the few times I did it was for 5 minutes. The last week I was there I failed a drug test, I was there for psychiatric not substance. She called my mother...I'm a twenty four year old adult, not a minor. It was ridiculous and breaking my right to privacy. People with mental illnesses are not children, we deserve as much respect as anyone else. It's clear this place is about money, they try to keep you as long as possible and once your insurance runs out, all of the sudden you're cured and cleared! Not suspicious at all. Save your money and get a therapist, free health clinic, don't go here.

This place is nothing but a TOTAL scam, a place where lack-of-freedom bullshit is around. Those clinic-wannabes can't abuse or manipulate me like that! I suggest just to AVOID.

This place is just awful. The therapy is boring the rooms are dark and dreary cold scary . Stay away !

This treatment center has staff that does not care at all about you as a person. They make snap judgments on you that affect your life and are rude in general. The MHAs look like they're bored 90% of the time and the clinicians ask about what you use to self harm. The only helpful people would be the other patients but they all just want to leave as soon as they can too. Don't go here. Find somewhere else.

One of the most incompetent, blatantly "for-profit" mental health organizations I have ever received treatment at. They do not care at all about your health or well-being. They are purely in it for the money, and it is SO apparent when they come after you for $650.00 despite clinicians Nicole Cruz and Michelle Peterson telling you services are free of charge. Maybe I was naive to assume I would owe NOTHING, but to blatantly lie (or omit information) about my charges is unethical, disgusting, and is 100% taking advantage of a vulnerable, mentally ill individual. Do NOT go here.
