Heritage House

The service was horrendous. The staff was slow to take the initial order considering the place was empty. We had to request a beverage menu after ordering appetizers. We also had to request bread for the table after our orders arrived. It took approximately 1 hour to place our order and an additional 45 minutes to an hour after the server asked if we were ready for out entrees. The food was dry, bland, and had no type of identity. It seemed like they put whatever they could gather into thr meals. I would definitely recommend going to Leone's across the street for a true Italian meal as this certainly is not the place for that. Google, please offer a less than 1 star rating to accurately reflect a user's opinion.

Found the food to be mediocre at best. Appetizers weren't bad but the theme of the menu is unclear. I ordered a grilled romaine salad for my entree which came out topped with some sort of salsa, cold grilled shrimp and a hair. The service was aloof and disorganized despite it being 4pm. Would suggest going to Raymonds or another near by Montclair staple rather than waste your time and money here.
