The job training/placement program is a waste of time. They didn't help me find a job and they didn't connect me with any employers, or even point me in the right direction. It's all about resume prep, online job searching, and mock interviews. They just took our personal information so they can meet their private funding quota, and keep their jobs.

If your working there for summer youth dont do it. They dnt allow overtime & the higher staff are just plain tacky & crappy. They make you do things thats not posted in your job description. And if your working there be ready to be in "fear" of cado, nobody likes her and theyre afraid to say it, shell try and put you in your place if she doesnt like your clothing.. Be ready to hear "your rolls of your stomach are showing through your shirt". She will make you do manual labor if shes feeling bitchy. The children are AMAZING but they seem bored most of the time. & for all the money that these kids are paying youd think the camp would provide better food for them. Its plain rediculous.

This is an amazing after school program that enhances youth development. There are many free activities to participate in no matter your age. Just ask the front desk receptionist and you will be welcome in with open arms.
