Henni Fisher came to my rescue a time when I was most stressed out and felt quite alone. I was a caregiver for my aunt who suffered from Alzheimer’s Disease. From the sale of her house I was able to keep her out of a nursing home and provide her with 24 hour care. The money ran out quickly and I was desperate – I had been told that the most care my aunt could get from Medicaid would be 8 hours. A former client referred me to Henni Fisher – and that was the best day of my life. Ms Fisher was kind and comforting. She helped me apply for Medicaid Homecare – took care of all the details. During the process several people, i.e. Doctors, Social Workers, etc. came to my house to evaluate my aunt. It was most invasive and scary and was a very unnerving time. I called Ms Fisher almost daily and she was always there for me – a reassuring shoulder for me to lean on. Ultimately Ms Fisher got my aunt 24 hour care and I did not have to put her in a Nursing Home. I could never have survived this process without her support and help.

She may be a fine counselor but you would never know it from the way she treated us. After her client passed away, she rudely dismissed the concerns of his son and daughter-in-law. She vehemently defended a home attendant accused of multiple counts of defrauding her own client without listening to the facts.
