So I called to try to get in asap to get my car checked out as the check engine light came on and there is a waterfall noise coming from behind my dashboard and was told that the soonest I could bring my car in to be checked is NEXT week. When I tried explaining that I didn't feel comfortable driving my car like that as it is brand new and don't want to cause any issues with my warranty/ any further damage, not to mention that I also have no idea what is causing this problem and don't feel safe driving it like this, I was told again that the earliest I could go in was next week... (so helpful!)
Also I was told that I need to provide my VIN number to schedule service... in all my years of owning cars AND dealing with Ford service at multiple other locations, never has a VIN been mandatory to schedule service. I didn't make a big deal about it since I am clearly bringing it somewhere else because I could not be accommodated and don't want to drive a potentially unsafe car, but that was yet another ridiculous and unhelpful part of my conversation with this "service" department receptionist.

This is our third Ford bought through this dealership.
Grace Dellaratta is wonderful. Knowledgeable, helpful, not pushy at all.
She is always looking out for the customer and figuring out the best deal that
can be made.
Frank, from the financial office, as usual, was extremely helpful.
We will be back in June to buy our new Explorer from Grace and Frank.

Just got home from the dealer, this was as simple and pleasant car buying experience as I have ever had. My salesperson Grace was very knowledgeable, professional and courteous, she made the whole experience a pleasure. The dealership itself is very modern, clean and well organized. I will definitely be taking my 2016 Explorer their for all my service needs.
I would recommend anyone interested in a Ford or Lincoln to go to Hempstead Ford/Lincoln first.

Grace Dellaratta really do care about the customers. Grace rocks!!! Grace is wonderful!! She is an honest woman and tells you everything upfront. Nothing hidden!! She does not see dollar signs when she deal with the customers. My husband and I went to another Ford dealer and they wanted $2,500 although we told them we just bought a house and did not have that much. Grace asked us what we'd be comfortable in paying. We paid $1,500 and she did everything possible for us to lease a new car. We would definitely without a doubt recommend her to our friends!!

My experience at Hempstead Ford was impeccable. Our salesperson, Ed Dowden, was so polite and very patient with us, never pushy, and took the time to show us all the "bells and whistles" on the car we were looking to lease. He got us the deal we wanted and actually made the experience enjoyable, rather than painful, like in other dealerships. Everything we agreed to was what was put on paper. No gimmicks.
Frank D'Amato, the sales manager, followed up with us before we left and explained our options for car care upgrades. He honestly recommended what would be best for our needs and didn't try to sell us anything unnecessary. Definitely a class act. I picked up my Fusion yesterday and look forward to working with this dealership for years to come!
