I was referred to this faciity by my PCP after being diagnosed with cancer. I called and made an appointment and had to wait over 1 month to get in.
When I made my appointment, I discussed with Susan my insurance and was told that they accepted my insurance. She proceeded to make the appointment. I asked to be seen sooner than 1 month, but was told no.
I arrived on time, and had to wait over 30 minutes until someone came out and said they didnt accept my insurance. I told them that Susan said they did.
Susan then came out and said it was my fault that I didnt confirm what she said with my insurance company, and that the doctor would not see me. Just imagine the nerve of this woman telling a person with cancer that waited over a month to be seen that she made a mistake but too bad, I should have confirmed what she said with my insurance company.
Very unprofessional and only cares about money. The doctor should have seen me if anything to apologize... but they just hid and never said anything.
