We ordered "Boliche" and "Ropa Vieja" it was served at a timely matter. The waiter never came to the table to ask if we were "okay". I am a waiter manager, so I have high standards. Ropa vieja was good but the Boliche tasted like the meat had expired therefore it tasted bad. We ordered another ropa vieja as a replacement and it took long to come out. Poor server

I order food to take out.. I order the Pargo red snapper with yucafongo on a bed of mixed greens tasted like I was eating a bowl of oil.
The snapper were thick cube pieces no flavor and the yucafongo was a bowl shape deep fried. My boyfriend has the Cuban steal with rice and beans and the steal had no flavor either. It had a really nice color but when he went to bite into it was flavorless as well. We both had to season with salt and pepper.
Really surprise their location on Tremont is really good and loved their food.
Not happy with this location.

I recently ate at this place with my wife and a friend. The atmosphere was very warm and there was the sound of Latin music playing in the background. There was a decent-sized crowd at the bar. We made ourselves to our table and sat down to browse the menu. Our waiter was very attentive and kept checking with our table regularly. I ordered the skirt steak which came on a bed of yellow rice accompanied by a small salad. The meat was well cooked and seasoned, and the rice was nice and fluffy. My wife ordered the codfish with sweet potato fries. The codfish was season with a blueberry reduction sauce which I had never tasted before. It was very good and flavourful. We finished up our meal with a few drinks, and hungout for a bit. Overall it was an enjoyable experience and we look forward to returning again.
