Great meal for a group of people to enjoy. My family and I all met here a couple of times. I had no qualms driving all the way from Philadelphia and my Bronx native father thought it was well worth his 3 hour trip from Delaware.

This is my place to go all the time when I need to grub on something. Harold's New York Deli Restaurant just has quite a few selections to choose from and they're all good. This place is a MUST GO if you have not been here yet. You won't regret it.

I don't live in the area, so when I am up this way, I'm hard-pressed to skip an opportunity to enjoy a meal at Harold's. I have never seen the place anything less than packed, and yet we don't seem to ever wait long for a table. (Of course, we might just not notice the wait since we're looking at their dessert case. By the way, I've never made it to dessert here, but it looks amazing.) The menu sports a wide selection, but, full disclosure, I've only ever ordered deli sandwiches, and the meat is always fresh, delicious, and abundant to the point of bordering on ridiculous. Grab some fresh bread and pickles from the bar -- they're all-you-can-eat -- and go to town on that thing.
And now I feel like a road trip.
Just be aware, the large portion sizes come with a price tag. If your party can't agree on one item for every two (maybe three or four) people, you're going to drop a lot of cash here.
And who complains about not being able to take extra pickles home for free? Listen, there isn't a restaurant on this planet that serves food all-you-can-eat and allows you to take more home, that's just bad for business. It doesn't matter how much you spend at the restaurant. You can fork out another 45 cents for a pickle.

I love this place I have been going there since the first day they opened was the first person to eat a ex-large combo and I mean eat it all by myself.I now live in N.C and when I go home to N.J I have to go to Harrods to eat well I went last week 5/9/15 Saturday night to get my sandwich ex-large Pastrami&Corned beef with Swiss cheese and raw onion,,, like I always get for the past 18 years but this time something was different. When I went in to pick up my sandwich I could tell it wasn't made right. It was wrapped in foil not in a tray like it always is the cheese was not melted, but since I was on my way back to N.C i did not want to wait for them to remake it. I ask the old lady at the counter if I could get something to put a few pickles in and in a very nasty voice she replies there in the bag ,,so I look 5 pickles all SMALLER than my sons pinky finger,my son is 9.I say to her I would like some more ,she replies there 45 cents a piece,,FOR REAL MY SANDWICH IS 62 DAMN DOLLARS AND YOU DIDN'T EVEN MAKE IT RIGHT.i THINK i WILL GO TO CARNEGIE THE NEXT TIME I GO HOME.The people you have working for you should be as GOOD AS THE FOOD.They get 5 STARS for food 0 for her BAD ATTITUDE
