Harbor Pointe Apartments

Where do I begin?????

I blows my mind that residents were so please with the last party that they wanted to leave positive reviews (IF those reviews were actual residents and not management staff up to deceitful tricks like always). Yes, decent party. Looks like they spent several thousands of dollars for all the food and drinks, plus a DJ, playhouse for kids too. So management thought it was a good investment to spend several thousand to party for a few hours instead of investing money into long term things like new lobby furniture that is stained beyond health code standards.....or perhaps get the front door to building 300 fixed so that residents can use their key fob instead of the universal code that everyone has had since they emailed it out LAST YEAR. Yes, communicated to all residents and now this key code has been given to food delivery guys, moving companies, etc. So much for a sense of security. Heck, they could have even spent the thousands of dollars on buying cleaning supplies and some paint to cover up the graffiti and remnants of racial slurs that were written all over the halls in the buildings. But nope.....lets have a party instead. Who made that decision. They party has ended and we still have graffiti on walls.....paint is still sloppily covered up from anti-Indian hate crime writings on walls..

This place is going down hill fast and needs to be saved by a management company that is professional and staff that genuinely care.

The immediate surrounding grass areas have all been flagged for utilities and roads around the property have been zoned for construction....this means new construction in the immediate future. Townhouse residents will no longer have that nice view of the golf course.....exterior units will have their partial view of the city blocked by new buildings. I just hope it is not the same owners or management company that controls what is going to be built around the property.

This place is 6-7 years old.....they charge prices like it is brand new with true luxury living. It is NOT luxury living. They are going to price themselves out when people realize the nasty quality of life that you get at Harbor Pointe.

WORST MANAGEMENT COMPANY you will ever have to deal with. They are absent, do not care about residents and any of the problems we experience, and they are rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful beyond measure. Injustice and unfair treatment is what me and my neighbors have been subjected to ever since moving here.

Any positive review here is clearly a fake. DO NOT GET FOOLED. This place is a nightmare and the people running it are nothing but criminals wearing office attire.

STAY AWAY FROM HERE AT ALL COSTS!

It honestly cracks me up that management has to incentivize or better yet "buy" their reviews. Seeing the clearly fake reviews makes me so angry because it cheats people out of information that they have the right to know. Management recently sent out an email to announce the "resident of the month"...come on. That alone speaks for itself.

The most recent occurrence here besides what people have already outlined below is that 2 emergency access/fire exits have been locked for over two weeks but as usual, management couldn't care less. This is negligence at its finest. Not only is this highly illegal, but incredibly dangerous and downright careless - ESPECIALLY with the amount of false fire alarms that go off here on a regular basis. Someone finally reported them and the doors are "semi" fixed but barely because they still jam and lock on their own.

Im sure management will just leave their number as a response to this below but I'm so beyond even dealing with them. I'm just sure to spread the word about how terrible this place is to pretty much I know. Rent here at your own risk.

You want it? They have it!!!! The nice buildings and well appointed flats. The peaceful surroundings of the hudson river. The lavish swimming pool with a life guard on duty. A great gym, and a indoor half-court. There is security around premises with indoor parking decks. Seasonal club house events. Last but not the least, the staff is very warm and welcoming and have everything you can ask for at a premium apartment complex. Caveat: You need to be ready to have some fun :-)

I fell in love with Harbor Pointe from the moment I saw it. The property is attractive, clean, and well maintained. The surveillance makes me feel safe and...even though I have a garage spot...on street parking is always available nearby. The building that I live in is spic and span and my neighbors have been very friendly (my niece visited recently and said that she loves the way it smells in the lobby) it always smells like it was just cleaned. My new apartment is modern, sunny and spacious. The management team is quite communicative and accommodating and Spring Funches, who showed me around and helped me chose the right unit for me has been great! She made sure that everything that I needed was prepared in advance and accurately and made my move effortless :)

I have lived in NY all of my life and I am quite familiar with apartment building living and what you get for the money...and what you don't get. I must say that I am quite pleased with Harbor Pointe and I know that I chose the right place to live. :)
